The onsite strategy

The team at OverstockArt.com launched three types of popup campaigns using Wisepops, tailored to different audiences and points in the customer journey.

1. Converting desktop traffic with an exit campaign

overstockArt.com created an exit intent popup displayed to visitors who viewed at least three pages on the website. The campaign offered a $100 coupon on a $200+ purchase in exchange for their email. This simple but high-value incentive helped turn window shoppers into paying customers.

2. Converting mobile traffic with a dedicated campaign

The same $100 coupon was adapted into a mobile-friendly popup. Displayed right before a visitor left the site, it helped recapture attention and convert traffic that would otherwise bounce. This campaign alone has generated 10,731 leads with a total CTR of 10.4%.

3. Getting more newsletter subscribers from the blog

OverstockArt.com publishes blog content to connect with more art fans. To convert that traffic, the company uses desktop and mobile newsletter signup campaigns. Instead of offering discounts, the value was art-related content—perfect for a brand building a community of art enthusiasts.
